...from Black to Jew, Soldier’s Revival is more than a song — it’s a covenant between the scattered and the chosen.
At the core of the album lies Soldier’s Revival, a call to unity that speaks directly to the shared experiences of Black and Jewish communities. With lyrics that reject false divisions — “I am not your enemy… it was all just a lie” — the song names the historical strategies used to separate diasporas from themselves and from each other. It then turns toward healing, with a charge to rise, reconnect, and return home.
For Black listeners, it is an affirmation of diasporic wholeness and survival. For Jewish listeners, it echoes the ancestral call of exile and return. Together, the song becomes a bridge of solidarity, urging both peoples to see their struggles mirrored and their futures intertwined.
